Alla Troyan, age 82 years, of Union Township, Hunterdon County, NJ, died peacefully on Sunday, February 7, 2021 at Country Arch Care Center.
Born in Gusarka Village, Zaporiz’ka Region, Ukraine on June 5, 1938, she was the daughter of the late Alexander Troyan and Yaryna Tymchenko.
Surviving are her husband, Igor Shpanko; her daughter, Ruslana; her daughter and son-in-law, Olena and James Brophy; and her three adored grandchildren who lovingly called her ‘Baba’, Cullan, Angelina, and Kalina.
Graveside life celebration services at Cedar Ridge Cemetery, Blairstown, NJ, were private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

Лена, какая ты молодец, что оформила память об Алле.
Фото очень впечатляют. Какая Алла была красивая и эта красота передалось вам с Русланой и внукам. А то что ты нашла родословные фото - это потрясающее чудо. Это огромная работа. Большое спасибо.
Фото показывают как жизнь меняет нас.
Алла всю свою жизнь думала не о себе, а о своих близких, отдавая им частички своего сердца. У нее были золотые руки - она могла прекрасно делать буквально все - истинная черта настоящей украинской женщины - прекрасный повар ( ее борщ, вареники, варенья, заготовки на зиму и многое другое были бесподобными), она была прекрасной швеей, рисовала, вышивала, успешно выращивала овощи и фрукты на даче и огороде. Я всегда у нее был в подмастерьях при ремонте квартир.
На химическом факультете Львовского университета только она могла выращивать лучшие монокристаллы для рентгено-структурного анализа.
Она была прекрасным учителем химии, потом научным сотрудником. По состоянию здоровья (аллергия на химикаты) Алла переквалифицировалась в экономиста. И везде она была надежной и добросовестной.
Наша грусть об уходе Аллы пусть будет светлой. Последнее десятилетие она провела в счастливых заботах о прекрасных внуках, подаренных нам Джеймсом и Леной.
Алла очень ценила и любила своего зятя - Джеймса Брофи. И это было взаимно.
Последние годы Алла мужественно, упорно, успешно, без истерик боролась с раковой болезнью. В возрасте 80 лет она перенесла тяжелые сеансы химиотерапии и не сломилась. Она не жаловалась, старалась не беспокоить жалобами близких. Ушла Алла тихо в сне.
Светлая память о замечательной АЛЛЕ ТРОЯН будет жить в нашей душе.
Пусть земля ей будет пухом.

We are so lucky to have met Alla and to have had the opportunity to enjoy her company over the years. She will always be remembered with her beautiful smile and loving disposition. It makes us smile thinking about her working on the garden and making delicious traditional meals. Even though we couldn’t speak her language, her warm hugs said a lot. She will be greatly missed and our hearts go out to you and your family.

I am so sorry to hear of your mom‘s passing. Alla was so loved by you, Jim, your kids and the rest of your family. It was wonderful to see how she loved living with you in NJ and helping with her gorgeous grandchildren. I remember at your wedding, Jim’s speech mentioned how during the years after you moved away from the Ukraine and were not living with your mom that you still spoke by phone with her every weekend and were very close. The first time I met Cullan at the Central Park Zoo, I remember how Alla was just beaming holding her first grandchild!. And I never heard a son-in-law rave so much about how wonderful Alla was with the kids and in the garden and how much he enjoyed her living with your family.
