Anthony  N. “Tony”  Russo, age 88 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died on Thursday, June 3, 2021, at his home, surrounded by his loving family and under the caring watch of  Penn Medicine Hospice.

Born and raised in Newark, NJ, June 06, 1932, son of the late Raphael and Assunta Pastullo Russo, Tony lived in Bloomfield, NJ before moving to his horse farm thirty-six years ago in East Amwell, NJ.

A extremely hard worker, dedicated and loving, Tony owned and operated his own electrical business, Russo Electrical Contractors, for many years.

Surviving are his wife, Diana Maria Butler Russo; a daughter, Debra Volpe; three sons, Dr. Anthony Russo, Guy Russo, and Rocky Russo and daughter-in-law, Caroline; his four grandchildren, Marissa, Bella, Baby Rocky, and Michael; a great grand-daughter, Olivia; a sister, Louise Galasso; several extended family members; and many dear friends.

Cremation at Somerset Hills Memorial Crematory, Basking Ridge, NJ was held privately under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

A gathering of family and friends will take place on Saturday, June 26, 2021 from 2:00-2:30 p.m. in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

A Life Celebration Service will follow at 2:30 p.m., to which all are welcome.
