Anthony “Tony” Nardone, age 76 years, of Kingwood Township, NJ, passed peacefully at his home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015 surrounded by his loving wife and family.
Born March 19, 1939 in Newark, NJ, son of the late John and Helen “Ellen” Fernicola Nardone, he was a longtime Kingwood Township resident.

He loved to cook and will be remembered for many things, including being the “jokester” in a group but also being the “neighborhood dad” who helped mentor and take care of anyone in need. He always put everyone else first, even in his final days.
Tenacity and strength are also lasting legacies, as he never gave up, garnering the strength to make in home with the help of Hunterdon Hospice to spend his final days surrounded by family and friends in his own home.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Louis Nardone.
Surviving are his beloved wife Gloria Zalewski Nardone, with whom he joined hands in marriage on February 15, 1986; his loving children, grandchildren and great grandchildren: daughter and son-in-law, Krystal and Duncan Cameron MacQueen IV and their children, Duncan Cameron V and Arabella; daughter, Theresa Nardone and her children, Frank and wife Kristin Passalacqua and their children, Jackson and Bennett and Daniela and husband, Kurt Simmons and their daughter, Carly; daughter and son-in-law, Toni and Jeff Hults and their daughter, Amanda; daughter and son-in-law, Maryann and David Merrill and their children, Jason and wife, Vanessa, Dana and husband, Fernando Soares with their son, Lucas and Derek Merrill; son, Anthony Nardone, Jr. and wife, Shannon and their son, Anthony III; six cherished siblings, Domenic Nardone, Joan O’Donnell, John and wife, Shirley Nardone, William “Jack” Nardone, Pearl Rosa and Michael Nardone; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
