Augusta Billera Borgese, age 96 years, of Toms River, NJ, died on Friday, September 18, 2015 in Community Medical Center, Toms River, NJ.

Born in New York City, NY, February 8, 1919, daughter of the late Louigi and Mary Deleo Billera, she had resided in Toms River for the past eight years, having formerly lived in Columbus, NJ and Franklin Square, NY. She used to spend her summers as a child in Flemington, NJ and always had many family in the Hunterdon County area.

Surviving are two sons and a daughter-in-law, Donald Richard Borgese of Columbus, NJ and Louis William and Amy Borgese in Florida; and many extended family and friends.

Graveside Services will take place on Friday, September 25, 2015 at 11:30 a.m. in St. Magdalen Cemetery, North Main Street, Flemington, NJ are under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. There are no calling hours.

I have very fond memories of Aunt Gussie and Uncle Frank, especially of the holidays and other special times spent together when we lived in Florida. Rest in peace Aunt Gussie. I picture you in heaven having playful arguments with Uncle Frank, baking Chrismas cookies with Grandma Lillie and catching up with all of our beloved family members who have gone before us. Love and prayers for Louis and Don and their families. May they find peace in their special memories of Gussie too.

I was with Augusta in prayer at the hospital shortly after the time of her death. Ill keep her and her family in prayer.
