I had the pleasure of working with and getting to know Charles over the course of several years. He was without a doubt, one of the kindest people I've ever met. Obviously he was a talented filmmaker, in all areas of the craft, but he was an even better person. I will miss him terribly.

I was watching "The Howling Wind" | ALTER https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wFZSEcRctoA and realize a tribute video made to Charlie. I don't know him personally but felt Charlie is a special person with great talents who need recognition. Upon knowing Charlie's departure, my heart wrench. May the family find strength and love during this time. Love and hugs from Malaysia.

All throughout high school Charlie and I were able to spend time together in all levels of our Television Production class, during class and after school for different events. Charlie was an extremely talented individual and someone I highly respected. He wasn’t a man of many words but he was always very kind and respectful towards others, and was someone I could go to if I ever needed any help. I never heard him utter a single negative sentence in the 4 years I knew him. He was an extremely hard worker and would often come to the studio during lunch breaks to get ahead on his class projects. I know in my heart that he is in a better place now. No words can be said to take away the hurt you must be feeling, but I hope stories and memories help you all get through this terrible time.
