Daniel A. Dean, age 74 years, of Readington Township, NJ, passed away on September 10, 2022, at St. Luke’s University Hospital Bethlehem Campus, Bethlehem, PA.

Born on February 21, 1948, in Bethlehem, IN, to the late Charlie and Mary Belle Dabney Dean.

He was an entrepreneur, owning and operating his business, Work and Fun, LLC in Whitehouse Station, NJ.

Daniel was a very proud veteran who served his country during the Vietnam war.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by two sisters, Mary Brown and Rita Archer.

Surviving are his loving wife, Maryann Dean; a son, Daniel Joseph Dean and his wife, Kaley; a daughter, Amanda Dean and her husband, Rusty Donnelly; two stepsons, Robert Slaby and his wife, Janice and Michael Jaczuk; one step daughter, Jenny Tinnell and her husband, Scott; a brother, Marty Dean and his husband, Alexis Hernandez; two sisters, Tressia Dyer and her husband, Duffy and Nyoka Emily and her husband, Ernie; nine grandchildren; two sister-in-laws, Christine Nelson and Janet Leotti; brother-in-law, Clayton Coffey; several extended family members; and many dear friends.

Daniel was larger than life. Always happy, always ready to tell a story,, sometimes a very long story, but always entertaining, even though sometimes I didn't have a clue what the story was about, you just could not listen. The life of any party with the personality to match. Daniel was the focus of many stories I told about riding and socializing with him. He was a friend and a good man. May he rest in peace.

Daneil, thank you for opening your heart and home to all that shared your life. Rest peacefully my friend.
