David A. Goldberg, age 72 years, of Wimauma, FL, died on Tuesday, August 22, 2017 (30 Av 5777), at Sun City Center Hospice, Sun City Center, FL.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, May 3, 1945, son of the late William and Ruth Ackerman Goldberg, he had formerly resided in Hillsborough, NJ and South Amboy, NJ before moving to Florida several years ago.
David was President of Robert Manning Associates for many years before his retirement.
This wonderful husband, father, grandfather and friend will forever be remembered by all who knew him as a caring businessman who believed in good and selfless service to all those he served and who imparted to his family that being a good person was the best way to navigate this thing we call, “Life.”
Surviving are his wife, whom he has known since they were children and who have been married for almost fifty years, Carole Ellen Diamant Goldberg; two sons and daughter-in-laws, Steven and Leah Goldberg of Raritan Township, NJ and Jeffrey and Michele Goldberg of Robbinsville, NJ; his grandchildren, Hannah, Alex, Max, Noah and Cole; his sister, Eileen Sapolsky of Tamarac, FL; and many extended family and friends.
Funeral Services officiated by Rabbi Eli Kornfeld will take place Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Everyone is kindly asked to meet at the funeral home beginning at 10:45 a.m. on Thursday.
Burial will follow in the Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, 67 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
