Deborah Sue Rader Stangil, age 55 years, of Ringoes, NJ, died on Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Phillipsburg, NJ, July 4, 1965, daughter of Cynthia Csordas Rader and the late Henry Rader, Deborah was raised in Warren Glen and had lived in Easton, PA prior to moving to Ringoes, NJ.
A 1983 graduate of Phillipsburg High School, Deborah was most proud of being a loving and caring wife and mother. Meeting her future husband, Wayne, at a country line dancing event, the two began to dance and their hearts have been dancing ever since. It was love at first sight for each of them. They were married on February 14, 1998 at their home in Ringoes in front of their fireplace, surrounded by family and friends.
Wayne Jr. would be born a few years later and Deborah loved everything about being a mom. She was loving and supportive, and was always there to listen and help both Wayne’s with whatever she could. Her home was meticulious and her kitchen was always alive with wonderful smells and even tastier foods. The crown of hosting all the family holidays went to Deborah, and she always ensured that she put a special touch on each and every event.
Always looking to inspire others, Deborah loved Winnie the Pooh and anything Disney. The character Christopher Robin in the Winnie the Pooh series once said, “You’re braver than you believe, stronger than you seem and smarter than you think.” Though Deborah’s sudden passing leaves a hole in the hearts of many, she would want everyone to know that they too are special and unique and that the world needs to see it each day. Never hide who you are and live each day to the fullest; if you do this, you honor Deborah.
In addition to her father, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kevin.
Surviving are her husband, Wayne Stangil; her son, Wayne Stangil, Jr.; her daughters, Cindy, Heather, and Barbara; her mother, Cynthia Rader; her brother and sister-in-law, Brian and Cathy Rader; her mother-in-law and father-in-law, Brad and Cathy Stangil; her sister-in-law Jennifer Edmonson; several nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family; and many dear friends.
Life celebration services followed by cremation were private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ 08822.
