Edna June Totten, age 91 years, of East Amwell Township, NJ, died peacefully on Tuesday, March 26, 2024, at her home, surrounded by her loving family
Edna June Totten was “June” to everyone who knew her.
She was a long-time member of both the United First Presbyterian Church of Amwell and the Amwell Valley Fire Company Ladies Auxiliary.
Remembered most for her cooking and baking skills, especially her white coconut cake, which was frequently requested by both family and friends.
She worked as a teller for Flemington National Bank for many years and was also a census taker for a few years. In later years, she rolled truffles at Pierre’s Chocolates part-time for almost ten years.
Loving the farm, she would frequently help milk cows, unload hay, and many other chores as needed on the family farm in Ringoes.
Other passions were sports, she was an avid bowler as well as a very faithful fan of both the Yankees and Jeff Gordon of Nascar.
Her life was happiest when her family was around her.
In addition to her parents, Myrtle and Russell Kinney; two sisters; two brothers; she is preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Totten, in April of 2007; they had been married for the previous 57 years.
She is survived by her 4 children Linda, Judy, Janet and Albert as well as 6 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Life celebration services will be held at a future date under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. We invite you back to the website for information on time and place.
Cremation was private under the care and supervision of the Wright & Ford Licensed Care Team.
