Edward Wadin, 85, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, December 21, 2002 at his home. He was born on April 1, 1917 in Bristol, CT, the son of the late Gustave and Rose (Tessman) Wadin and lived in Clover Hill and Flemington before moving to Raritan Township in 1964. Until his retirement in 1965 he was a Truck Driver employed by Johanna Farms, Flemington. His brother Robert Wadin pre-deceased him. Mr. Wadin is survived by two nephews, Robert Wadin of Shannon, MS and James Wadin of Lake Forest, CA. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 28, 2002 at 11:00 a.m. in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington. Entombment will follow in St. Magdalen’s Mausoleum, Flemington. Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday, December 27, 2002 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday morning from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Memorial contribution may be made to Hunterdon Hospice, 2100 Wescott Drive Flemington, NJ 08822.
