Elizabeth A. “Betty” Mantz

Elizabeth A. Mantz, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on Friday, February 27, 2015 at Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ

She was born February 28, 1952 in Plainfield, NJ. Betty was the daughter of the late Harold Kerr and Janet Eckstein Kerr, of, Flemington, NJ.

She was employed Hunterdon Medical Center for many years as a Nurse and also Stone Arch Nursing Home in Pittstown, NJ., for many years. She was diagnosed with M.S. in 1993.

Betty loved crocheting, she assisted her husband and helped as a score keeper for PAL Baseball. Betty enjoyed playing solitare, tetris, doing crosswords, drawing and watching the Phillies.

She is survived by her mother, Janet Kerr, her loving husband James R. Mantz, of Phillipsburg, her loving children; Michael S. Mantz and his girlfriend, Sarah Strassle, of, Phillipsburg, and Kevin J. Mantz and his girlfriend Caroline Lehmann, of, Bethlehem. She is also survived by siblings, Susan Hamm, of, Flemington, and Jane Angelo, of, Frenchtown.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, March 6, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. in the Finegan Funeral Home, 302 Heckman Street, Phillipsburg, NJ. Calling hours will be held on Friday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. in the Finegan funeral home. Inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family.
