Elizabeth H. Jacques, 88, of South Glastonbury, CT, died on Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at the Salmon Brook Care Center in Glastonbury, CT. She was born on July 6, 1914 in Dover, CO, the daughter of the late Ursie and Etta Jones Hodgson and lived in Flemington, NJ for many years before moving to South Glastonbury, CT in 1988. Until her retirement in 1985 she owned and operated the Flemington Answer Service in Flemington. Her husband, William H. Jacques died in 1961 and her son Dale E. Hapes died in 1997. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Jacques-Turner of South Glastonbury, CT; two grandsons, Eugene Hapes of Flemington, NJ and Brice Turner of South Glastonbury, CT; and one granddaughter, Hope Turner of South Glastonbury, CT. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 16, 2002 at 11:00 in the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. Friends may call at the funeral home on Sunday, December 15, 2002 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. and on Monday, December 16, 2002 from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
