Linda, Brian and Kevin, I am so sorry for your loss. The loss of a parent is always hard to take, no matter the age. The following from Padre Pio helped me when my Mother passed. He said that only two things in the world will never abandon you, the watchful eye of God and the heart of your Mother who will always follow you!

Dear Linda, Brian, Kevin, Wayne and Shannon - I was so sorry to hear of Elsies passing. I will always remember her as a very vibrant and gracious lady; the kind of mother and grandmother everyone wishes they would be fortunate enough to have, or to know. I usually manipulated myself into the seat next to her, at such nationally-recognized events the Janke Thanksgivings or the Cavanaugh Easters, because she was so much fun to kid with and be around. As dear as she was to you, please know that those of us who came to know her felt the same way. She will be sorely missed at 233 OBB. Very sincerely, Kevin

Brian, Linda, Kevin, Wayne and Shannon. Sending our deepest sympathy for the loss of your mom and grandmom. We got to know Elsie pretty well over the years as she was frequently included in many of the events at your home, at the shore or at our house. Ill always remember how you couldnt keep her out of the kitchen. She was always pitching in to help with the dishes, drying or whatever I would ask her to do. When Elsie was there, I knew my job would be much easier. She loved to walk and play golf and could out walk many of us for a good part of her senior years. I loved the way she was part of all these events with her family and how those memories will always be there for everyone involved. We will miss her.
