In the early 1980s, she had her own fashion label, Emma G., which was sold in select boutiques and stores in the U.S. In later years she dabbled in interior design, but continued to be recognized by many for her creativity and her in-depth knowledge of the structure and construction of clothing.
Among her passions were her pugs. She also loved classic movies and music, and continuing her artistic endeavors. She proudly considered herself a modern woman, having worked in a challenging industry. She continued to follow fashion and interior design trends, and read extensively.
