Esther Lacob Suozzo, age 92 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Saturday, September 12, 2015 in Rolling Hills Care Center, Clinton Township, NJ.
Born in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Samuel and Goldie Stone Lacob, Esther had resided in Flemington and Raritan Township, NJ since 1964, having formerly lived in Forest Hills, NY.
Working as a Registered Nurse for the State of New Jersey for many years, upon her retirement Esther then owned and operated “The Craft House” in Flemington, NJ.
A longtime member of the Flemington Jewish Community Center and B’nai B’rith Women of New Jersey, she will be remembered as a strong and loving spirit by all those who knew her.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Suozzo in 1982 as well as by her son, Kenneth Ellentuch in 1995.
Surviving are a daughter, Paula Ellentuch of Raritan Township, NJ; a daughter and son-in-law, Joyce and Paul Berquist of Tucson, AZ; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Ellentuch of Rocky Point, NC; and a grandson, Joshua Ellentuch of Rocky Point, NC.
Funeral Services officiated by Rabbi Joseph M. Forman will be conducted on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will follow in Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ.
