Frank J. Kelly, 76, of Lawrenceville, NJ passed away on January 22, 2016 in his home surround by his loving family.
Born in Trenton, and previously of Hamilton Township, Frank had resided in Lawrenceville with his wife for the past 26 years. He was a salesman for Cathcart Pontiac in Trenton for over 20 years, and regularly started the day with friends at the Artic for coffee, or he would join them after work at the diner. He was a fount of knowledge about the who’s who of Trenton. He loved to share stories with his buddies and often reminisced about his 3 appearances on To Tell the Truth where he received parting gifts of turtle wax, castor and Sarah Coventry jewelry.
Preceded in death by his father, James J Kelly, mother, Nan J Kelly, sister, Helen Leyrer and brother, James J Kelly.
He is survived by Edie Kelly his loving wife of 38 years, his daughter, Karen Walsh of Flemington, NJ, two grandchildren Abby Walsh from Santa Cruz California and Jake Walsh, also from Flemington, NJ, several nephews and many friends.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, January 26th at 11 a.m. at the M. William Murphy Funeral Home, 1863 Hamilton Ave. in Hamilton. Burial will be in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday evening from 7 -9 pm and 9 a.m. until time of services (11a.m.) at the funeral home. For additional information visit www.murphyfh.com.
