Gay lived a full life with a writer’s heart. She loved to read books and to write. She loved art and the simplicity of an old fashioned cup of tea. She prepared elaborate meals for her family and friends. She designed and painted menus, possessed an amazing knowledge of spices, teas, and herbs and was a chef extraordinaire. It was her truest joy to entertain and be with her family and friends.
