Girard Moscato, age 74 years, of Salisbury Township, PA, died on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at the home of his daughter and son-in-law.
Born in Brooklyn, NY on January 5, 1941, son of the late Frank and Anita (Gentile) Moscato, he was a longtime Hunterdon County, NJ resident.
Girard was a hairdresser at Legend Salon in Flemington, NJ and previously owned and operated Hair Quarters, Flemington, NJ.
He was a faithful member of Salem United Methodist Church, Springtown, PA and was also an avid runner, participating in 22 marathons world – wide throughout his life.
Surviving are his loving daughter and son-in-law, Stacey B. and Richard J. Obrochta with whom he resided; a brother and sister-in-law, Lawrence and Pati Moscato of Harrison, NY; three grandchildren, Amanda and husband, Marques Repsher, John “JT” Mahoney, and Brooke Mahoney; and a great grandson, Kade Repsher.
Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. in Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ, preceded by a memorial visitation from 1:00-2:00 p.m.
