Glenn Worthington, age 66 years, of Jonesborough, TN, formerly of West Palm Beach, FL, died suddenly on Thursday, January 7, 2016 in Johnson City Medical Center, Johnson, City, TN.
Born in Plainfield, NJ, July 16, 1949, he was the son of the late Walton and Jane Greder Worthington.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Constance Lynn Worthington, in 2009 as well as by his sister, Arlene Donovan.
Among his survivors are his wife, Keri Leigh Worthington; two children, Glenn Worthington, Jr. of Loxahatchee, FL and Denise Lynn Holland of Winston-Salem, NC; two step-daughters, Ambre Leigh Minty of Palm Beach, FL and Ashley Lynn Minty of Naples, FL; a brother, Gary Worthington of Flemington, NJ; six grandchildren, Courtney and Devin Worthington, Evan Michelle Holland, Mathew Wesley Minty, Jessica Holland-Brady and Amanda Holland-Sanders; a niece and her husband, Tara and Troy Portela and his great nephew, Alexander Portela, all of Flemington, NJ; several extended family; and many friends.
Visitation in Tennessee will be Wednesday, January 13, 2016 under the care of Dillow-Taylor Funeral Home and Cremation Services, Highway 11-E, Jonesborough, Tennessee, 37659. Telephone: 423.753.3821.
The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 15, 2016 in the Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Funeral services officiated by Rev. Jessica Stenstrom will begin at 2:00 p.m. followed by burial in Union Cemetery, Lebanon, NJ.
