I just read this today, that Greg passed away back on March 19th. I'm so very sorry for your loss. I went to school with Greg and he was just the nicest guy you could ever meet. Always very respectful and kind. Just fun to be around. And that was 50 years ago, but when I look at his picture, I still see the Greg I went to school with. Again I'm so very sorry.

Sue Lizzi left a message on March 22, 2023:
I've had the privilege of knowing Greg for over 33 years, he's my brother-in-law by marriage. A fond memory that comes to mind is being in Greg and Marie's kitchen, watching them working hard to prepare and serve another fantastic meal, often during a holiday...Greg would pause occasionally to wipe sweat from his brow or to put out a small oven fire that caused the smoke alarm to go off (relatable lol). Feasts are what they created with the best italian food I've ever had...noone makes meatballs like Marie ! and there's usually a huge pot of them simmering on the stove. On several occasions I'd be sitting across the table from Greg and I would enjoy watching him hold one of the grandchildren when they were very young, talking this sweet baby-talk to them with an animated facial expression while asking them if they wanted to try something to eat...he had so much love for them that you couldn't help but smile from ear-to-ear. Greg was capable and generous and had a kindness that made you always feel welcome and respected. I recall once I was quite ill and was on the phone with Marie and Greg telling them about a horrible dream I had and I was afraid it would come true....there was a pause and then Greg said "It's okay, I took it away for you, Sue". I can still feel the relief that those words gave to me then. Greg was the kind of guy that was willing to step in and take away all the bad stuff for people he cared about. If I could have stepped in recently and returned the favor for him, I would have... I watched his business "Space Savers" grow over the years through integrity, hard work and the respectful. kind way customers are treated and I'm sure the business will continue to flourish. And so with a broken heart over the loss of this great brother-in-law, yet a grateful heart for having known him for so long, I'd like to share this writing I found from Winnie the Pooh: "how does one become a butterfly?' Pooh asked pensively. 'you must want to fly so much that you are willing to give up being a caterpiller,' Piglet replied. 'You mean to die?' asked Pooh. 'Yes and no,' he answered. 'What looks like you will die, but what really you will live on"'. Enjoy heaven, Greg. We miss you lots.

Dear Marie, I am so terribly sorry for your loss. Barb called me because they wanted us to know. We are all getting to that age when, as my dad would say, we will one day meet our maker. Not very poetic but truthful and honest. You have stayed strong through so much just keep your faith, and remember you have many loved ones that will stand by you and support you. Marie continue to be blessed and bless others, you always did that well.

I never thought I’d see this day, atleast not yet. I’ll never forget the things greg and Marie have done for me and Michael growing up and what they’ve instilled in us. Michael was 5 and I was 7. They invited us in as their own in it’s entirety without blinking. Greg plays a huge part of who we are today an I’ll carry that with me for the rest of my life. I know we all probably gave him a few extra gray hairs during our rebellious teenage/early 20’s years but his love is bigger then anything I’ve ever seen and he showed it in everything he did especially when it came to his family (adopted children included) If only every man was like him. Greg made everyone feel welcome, loved and most importantly to me, safe. Pops you get to rest now and your with Theresa, that brings me some peace. I love you ?? Always and Forever ❤️

I can’t express how truly sorry I am for the loss of Greg, aka Pops. I’ve known the Pagano family for over 30 years, being best friends with Tina since 2nd grade, and he was just amazing. He was a wonderful father and grandfather and treated me as if I was his own. Driving us girls all over creation when we were younger, I never heard him complain about it. He would be so tired yet pick us up at the mall, movies, Fridays, wherever, and asking us how our night was. He was a sweet and caring person who laughed and made you feel welcome. I will genuinely miss his laughter and presence. Always and forever
Abbie Siligrini left a message on March 20, 2023:
There aren’t enough words for me to express how much love & gratitude I have for the entire Pagano family. I’m just so thankful I got to have Greg in my life as a father figure when I was young. If it wasn’t for the influence of him - of the Pagano family, my life just wouldn’t be the same. I remember Greg driving us to school. I remember him scaring the crap out of our boyfriends.. But what sticks out most are the times he’s stopped to tell me “what a beautiful family I have” or thank me for being a good friend. He knew what was important, & just the way that he said things was so powerful and full of love. If there are angels on earth, he was one of them, & I know his legacy will live on Always & Forever. ?? ?
