Helen M. O’Brien, 88, of Stockton, NJ, died on Wednesday, December 4, 2002 at home. She was born on November 30, 1914 in St. Louis, MO, the daughter of the late Charles and Adelaide Coy and lived in Highland, IL before moving to Stockton in 2001. Until her retirement in 1984 she was a teacher employed by the Lake Bluff school district, Lake Bluff, IL. She is survived by two sons, Patrick D. O’Brien of Wildwood, IL and David C. O’Brien of Boulder, CO; three daughters, Adelaide C. O’Brien of Stockton, NJ, Mary A. O’Brien of Fairfax, CA and Ann T. O’Brien of Dayton, OH; three sisters, Edith Coy of St. Louis, MO, Adelaide Glynn of Carlsbad, CA and Ruth Covington of Newport Beach, CA; and 8 grandchildren. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Interment will be private. There will be no calling hours at the funeral home.
