Mr. Higinio Maldonado Ramirez, age 63 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, died on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ, surrounded by his family and close friends.
Born in Cardenas, Mexico, January 11, 1954, son of the late Jacinta Ramirez and Tiburcio Maldonado, he had lived in Raritan Township for the past thirty-four years.
He was the Foreman at Mavrode Farms, Ringoes, NJ, where he was loved by all who knew him. His hard work and dedication, along with his sense of humor, will not soon be forgotten.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Irma and Luis Banda of Dallas, TX; a daughter, Rafaela Zuniga of Dallas, TX; seven grandchildren, Jacqueline and Claudio Velazquez, Esmeralda and David Alvarado, and Josiah, Luis and Namoi Banda; his siblings, Elvira, Macaria, Maria Victoria, Lucio, Maria de Jesus, and Jose Antonio; several nieces, nephews and cousins; the Mavrode family and all the employees of Mavrode Farms; and many friends.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Rev. Joseph Kabali on Friday, April 21, 2017 at 7:30 p.m. in St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
Visitation will be Friday from 5:00-6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be in Cemeterio Municipal de Rioverde, Rioverde, Mexico under the direction of Funerales Lara, Calle 5 de Mayo 410, Zona Centro, 79610 Rioverde, S.L.P., Mexico.
