Janice Patricia Lewis

Janice Patricia Lewis, born July 17, 1947, went to walk with God on April 10, 2023.

She is survived by her two children and five grandchildren. She will be remembered most as a prayerful woman and a devoted wife to her husband of 54 years. She spent many years in prayer groups and Bible studies, and she enjoyed sharing her spirituality with others.

In her lifetime, she dedicated her time to pray for many. Janice was an avid collector of books and loved to read. Her happiest moments that made her smile the most were being near the ocean with her husband, and playing with her grandchildren when they were little. She enjoyed a long career as an executive assistant and a medical transcriber.

She was interested in many things, and tried to learn as much as she could on her own about astronomy and history. She loved to learn and just loved music of all kinds. She had an occasional silly side, especially in her younger years, which will truly be missed.

Janice is loved beyond words… a mom, a grandmom, a sister, and a dear friend. May she now finally rest in the light of God’s love.

Cremation services were private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

My fondest memories of Janice were in home room where we joked and had fun prior to classes. I always thought she was one of the cutest girls in the school.

My beloved "baby sister". We shared so very much over our seventy five years as sisters. Tears and laughter and faith and prayers and much love filled those years. I will cherish our memories and hold you close in my heart. ?
