Joan Ann Motovidlak of Raritan Township, passed away, Sunday, July 16, 2023, peacefully at home, in the presence of loved ones, which was her greatest wish.
Born in Wilkes-Barre PA, Joan was the daughter of John and Mary Reh, and graduated from Wilkes-Barre Township High School. She moved to New Jersey with her husband Raymond, where they raised their three children. A dedicated mother and wife, Joan also built a career as a bank teller, bookkeeper, and office manager while taking care of her family. A quiet person, Joan’s integrity, tenacity, honesty, and conscientiousness were among her most defining traits. In her free time, she enjoyed reading, watching her shows, shopping, exploring the internet, traveling, and spending time with family.
In addition to her parents, Joan was predeceased by her husband, Raymond; her brothers, Robert and John (Jackie); her later-in-life companion, Larry; and her beloved friend and sister-in-law Mary Lou.
Joan is survived by her children, Raymond, Debra, and Dave, and their respective spouses, Donna, Victor, and Amy; grandchildren, Raymond, Julia, Jake, Alyssa, and Zach; great granddaughter, Emmy; brother, Jim and his children; and lifelong friends and relatives from the Motovidlak and Reh families.
In accordance with Joan’s wishes, life celebration services are private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
