Josephine D. DeSapio, 85, of Kingwood Township, NJ, died on Monday, October 14, 2002 at home. She was born on January 17, 1917 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Eugene and Julia Lollo and lived in Flemington and Stuart Fl. before moving to Kingwood Township in 1990. She graduated in 1934 from Divine Providence Academy in Pittsburgh, PA and was a homemaker. Mrs. DeSapio was a former member of the Hunterdon County Board of Elections and St. Magdalen’s Church Rosary Altar Society, Flemington. Her husband Salvatore DeSapio died in 1977. She is survived by two sons, Thomas DeSapio and Martin J. DeSapio both of Kingwood Township NJ; three daughters, Judy DeSapio-Connolly of Flemington, NJ, Cecilia DeSapio of Hellertown, PA, and Regina Duffy of Bushkill, PA; one sister, Teresa Alexander of Phillipsburg, NJ; three grandsons Sean Connolly, Salvatore N. DeSapio and Joseph DeSapio; and one granddaughter, Anna Maria DeSapio. The funeral will begin on Friday, October 18, 2002 at 8:45 a.m. from the Robert L. Ford Funeral Home, #38 Highway 31, Flemington, NJ to celebrate the Funeral Liturgy at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Victories Church, Baptistown. Interment will follow in St. Magdalen’s Cemetery, Flemington.
