Laszlo A. Huebscher, Jr., age 49 years, of Mansfield Township, NJ, died on Monday, April 13, 2015 in Hackettstown Regional Medical Center, Hackettstown, NJ.

Born in Budapest, Hungary, April 14, 1965, son of Dr. Zsuzsanna Vitkay Huebscher of Kingwood Township, NJ and the late Laszlo A. Huebscher, Sr., he had lived in Mansfield Township for the past sixteen years, having grown up in Hungary and coming to the United States at the age of ten. The family settled in New Brunswick, NJ where Laszlo spent the rest of his childhood.

He was the owner and operator of Light Harbor Properties, LLC located in Mansfield Township.

An engineer by his education, Laszlo was truly the ultimate handyman. He could build and fix almost everything and enjoyed working on projects that tested his ability to think. He was an avid Lego collector and builder, enjoyed refurbishing old cars and pick-up trucks, fishing, scuba diving and anything that he could do with his family.

Above all else, he was a loving and devoted husband, father, son, brother, uncle and friend.

Surviving, in addition to his mother, are his wife of twenty-eight years, Eszter Avvakumovits Huebscher with whom he joined hands in marriage on February 27, 1988; his daughter, Samantha and his son, Maxwell; his brother and sister-in-law, Attila and Reka Huebscher of Franklin Township, Hunterdon County, NJ; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Dr. Gabriella Jeli and Gyorgy Avvakumovits, in Hungary; several other family members throughout the United States and Hungary; and many friends.

The family will receive friends for a memorial visitation on Friday, April 17, 2015 beginning at 11:00 a.m. in Our Lady of the Mountain Church, 2 East Springtown Road, Long Valley, NJ 07853 followed by a Memorial Mass at Noon. Following mass, there will be a reception in Laszlo’s honor in the parish hall of the church. Arrangements are under the care of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

Interment will be private at a later date.
