Tom, Peter and Faith: May God be with you in this difficult time. Your Mom was so sweet-I loved to hear her laugh! We were all so fortunate to grow up in the San Antonio neighborhood. Of course my best memory of your Mom is her teaching me to drive. To this day I don't know why she volunteered, but I'm so glad she did. I remember her setting up garbage cans with broomsticks in them so I could practice parallel parking my Mom's huge Oldsmobile. Then when I passed my drivers' test she presented me with a trophy: an orange juice can decorated to look like a trash can, that said "Louise Foppiani Driving School-Loving Can-UNDENTED." I still have it.
Cheryl (DeLuca) Reed left a message on January 11, 2024:
Louise was a big part of many of my childhood memories. Taking Faith and I down the Jersey Shore, many days swimming in the pool and playing Canasta. She always treated me like part of the family. Rest in Peace Mrs. Foppiani.🦋💚
