Maria Louisa Yasenchak, age 61 years, of Raritan Township, NJ, passed away peacefully on Sunday, June 25, 2023, at home, surrounded by her loving husband and daughters.

Born on November 24, 1961, in Staten Island, NY, daughter of the late Joseph S. Lariccia and Maria Cardone, Maria moved in 1991 to Flemington, NJ, where she would fall in love and join hands in marriage on September 30, 1994 and raise her twin daughters with her loving husband.

Maria loved baking, crocheting, gardening, cruising, all things Disney, the Jersey Shore especially, Wildwood. She was a woman of many skills and roles, but her favorite role of all was being a mother. She nurtured her daughters with tremendous love and instilled in them values of respect, creativity, and joy. Maria was a caring wife who loved her husband deeply for 29 beautiful years.

She had a wonderful career in Investment Banking where she worked many years in Manhattan, NY, for Credit Suisse as a Vice President. She was also a survivor of the 9/11 attack of the twin towers during that fateful day when so many lost their lives, she would go on and to persevere and make a beautiful life for herself and her family.

Maria fought her battle with cancer fearlessly, never losing hope and always with a sense of humor. Her brave and vibrant soul will be missed and always remembered. Her legacy will be passed on through the caring and selflessness of her daughters.

In addition to to her parents, Maria is predeceased by a sister, Bernadette Duenas and a brother, Nicholas Lariccia.

Surviving are her husband, John; two twin daughters, Skylar and Taylor; two sisters, Nina Dimino and Maria Colt; two brothers, Joseph Lariccia and Benny Lariccia; many extended family; and several dear friends.

Maria will lie in repose on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 8:00-10:00 a.m., in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

A Mass of Christian Burial celebrated by Rev. John Primich will take place on Friday, June 30, 2023, at 10:30a.m., at St. Magdalen Church, 105 Mine Street, Flemington, NJ, under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services.

Entombment will be held on Friday, June 30, 2023, from 11:30 a.m.-11:45 a.m. at St. Magdalen Mausoleum, 94 North Main Street, Flemington, NJ.
