Marvin Bernard Jacobson, age 82 years, of Montgomery Township, NJ, died suddenly but peacefully at Stonebridge at Montgomery Care Center on Wednesday, April 10, 2024, with his cherished wife of more than fifty-seven years, Rachelle, holding his hand.
A complete life legacy reflecting on the soul of this most special man will be forthcoming.
Funeral services officiated by Rabbi Eric Cohen, Ph.D., will take place on Friday, April 12, 2024, beginning at 11:00 a.m., at the Flemington Jewish Community Center, 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington, NJ, 08822. Everyone is kindly asked to arrive at 10:45 a.m. and to follow the instructions of the Wright & Ford Care Team Family Ambassadors upon arrival for parking and greeting the family.
Burial will follow the service at the Flemington Jewish Community Cemetery, 67 Capner Street, Flemington, NJ, and all are welcome and encouraged to attend.
Following the interment, all are invited to return with the family back to the Flemington Jewish Community Center for the Meal of Consolation.
Shiva will take place on Saturday evening, April 13, 2024, with services at 8:30 p.m. at the family home. Shiva services will also take place at 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, again all at the Jacobson family home. Friends will be received on Sunday through Wednesday at any time after 10:00 a.m. each day. Your presence and support is truly appreciated by Marvin’s entire family.
Shiva will end Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m., when visitors may accompany Shellie in the traditional walk around the property. Also, kindly note there is limited parking at the house: you may park in the driveway, or on the grass. If there is no parking at the house, you may park on Sourland Hills Drive, just before the house but there is NO parking on the road in front of their home. Visitors may bring vegetarian or dairy dishes for Shellie if they wish.
All arrangements are under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
