Mary Ann A. Kasper, 71, of Groveland, FL died on July 3, 2015 in South Lake Hospital, Clermont, FL after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
She was born in Doylestown, PA, the daughter of the late John & Helen (Sauer) Jungblut. After her marriage to the late Oskar Kasper in 1982, she moved from their home in New Jersey to Florida in 1987 where she was a homemaker, caregiver and volunteer.
Mary Ann was a member of South Lake Presbyterian Church, Clermont and an active member of the Pink Ribbon Ladies Support Group as well as several Blind Association support groups while she was caring for her blind husband until his death in 2013.
She also was a volunteer & avid supporter of the You’ve Got a Friend (YGF) Veterinary Clinic in Mascotte, FL where she helped many families & animals in Lake County.
She left behind daughter Maryanne, wife of James Serfass, Jr. and grandson, James Ryan Serfass; sister, Joan Meyerhofer; 2 nieces,1 nephew; stepson, David Kasper & 2 step-grandchildren. She was led home by granddaughter Nicole Serfass and her parents and husband.
Public Memorial Services will take place on Saturday, August 8 at 2:00 p.m. in Stanton Reformed Church, 1 Stanton Mountain Road, Stanton, NJ. A private family graveside interment was held in Prospect Hill Cemetery, Capner Street, Flemington, NJ under the care of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
