Nancy Johnson Monteverde, age 69 years, of Perkasie, PA, died on Sunday, June 11, 2023, at Grand View Medical Center, Perkasie, PA, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on December 27, 1953, in Perth Amboy, NJ, daughter of the late Brian and Anne Palchik Johnson, Nancy will be forever remembered for her beautiful smile that lit up any room!

A loving mother and doting grandmother referred to by many as, “Mimi”, Nancy was a hard-working teacher’s aide and loved spending time with children. A good soul who always had sage advice on almost any topic, she loved the beach and would do anything for her friends and family.

Surviving are her children, Amanda Morris-Wilt and her husband, Christopher Wilt; Eric and his wife, Kelly Monteverde, and Bobby Morris, Jr. and his longtime partner, Kelly Rankin; his grandchildren, Taylor Fox, Joey Fox, Jackson Mulligan, Nathaniel Morris, Kinsley Wilt, and Niko Wilt; numerous extended family; her fifteen year old puppy, Snickers; and many dear friends.

Cremation and life celebration arrangements are private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

Amanda, Bobby, and Eric, We just learned of your mom’s passing and wanted you all to know how sorry we are for your loss. Nancy was a very nice neighbor and friend for a long time. She had a wonderful laugh and smile. She was very thoughtful and sometimes brought us a sweet home baked treat. Most of all she loved her family. Dear Amanda & Family, I have only pleasant memories of your mother from when I was your English teacher. Years later, when I would see her around town, she always beamed as she spoke about you & your children. I ran into her last at ShopRite not so long ago and she proudly shared all of your most recent accomplishments. You have my deepest sympathy at this sad time, and I pray that your many sweet memories of her will bring you some comfort and peace.

The words, Unsung Hero, come to mind in remembering Nancy. She came into our lives as a companion for my mother, Eleanor DuLaney, and became a godsend in befriending and caring for her. She was so positive, uplifting, and very respectful of my mother’s needs and truly became her friend. She introduced me to Bayer Back and Body. I know this seems a strange thing to remember about her, but her ceaseless compassion for others was always highlighted in all the little things she did for others.
