Nancy Orcutt “Yoda” Seyboth, age 65 years, of Hamilton Township, NJ, died on Thursday, March 26, 2015 in Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital Hamilton, Hamilton, NJ.
Born in Trenton, NJ, April 4, 1949, daughter of the late Herbert and Marie Filip Orcutt, she had resided in Flemington, NJ for many years prior to moving to Hamilton Township in 2002.
She was formerly the Manager of the Classified Department at the Trentonian newspaper for many years. She had also formerly worked directly with publisher Malcolm Forbes for a period of time.
A proud member of the New Jersey Press Association, she had received numerous awards for her work with a number of prominent area newspapers, both daily and weekly papers. Work was very important to her, but she also had many hobbies which she took great pride in; animal rescue projects captured her heart and she was known for taking care of the feral cats that lived by the Trentonian main offices.
Nancy was a voracious reader of contemporary romance books and loved rugby, especially the North Wales Crusaders rugby team which she followed regularly and who they considered to be one of their favorite fans.
Above everything though, Nancy was a true friend to all she met and always tried to do the right thing for every person she encountered.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas J. Seyboth in 2001 as well as her sister, Leslie Orcott in 1995.
Surviving are several cherished cousins, including Michele and her husband, Tony De Cicco of Morrisville, PA and Eugene Pope, Jr. of Trenton, NJ; her “perfect child,” Amber Jacobs of Hamilton Square, NJ; her loving best friend and her boyfriend, Jane Bentley and Rich Elonis; several friends who truly were by her side as she battled her illness, Kendall Barnett, Olena Feltes, Marty and Lisa Chell, Kim Stoutenburg and Patty Sedor; as well as countless other friends from throughout the United States and around the world, including authors Don Abdul and G.G. Carter, with whom she shared special bonds across the oceans.
Funeral services officiated by Rev. Jack O’Kane will take place on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. in Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Committal words will follow at Ewing Crematory, 78 Scotch Road, Ewing, NJ. Nancy’s cremated remains will be interred with her husband in Rosemont Cemetery, Rosemont, NJ.
Calling hours will be Tuesday, March 31, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 p.m. in the funeral home. Please visit www.wrightfamily.com for further information, to send a card or message of condolence to the family and to share a memory or photos of Nancy.

There are no words to accurately describe just how much I am going to miss all of our late night chats, your words of wisdom, advice and our many laughs at some of the dumbest stuff.
