Paul David Tauscher, age 69 years, of Hampton, VA, quietly left us on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.

Born in Bayshore, Long Island, NY, on November 5, 1953, he was the second of eight children born to the late Rev. Robert W. Tauscher and Erene Ruth (Dugroo) Tauscher.

Graduating from the Clifton, NJ, Public School System in 1971, he continued his education at The William Paterson College, and then received his Masters Degree from The New Jersey Institute of Technology. Paul immediately began his career as a Civil Engineer, and continued in the Industrial Construction Industry for the next 44 years, retiring as the Eastern Sales Manager with Titan Formworks Systems in Tempe, AZ.

He was responsible for using his mathematical and construction expertise in the development of numerous towering skyscrapers in every state east of the Mississippi River. Much of the New York City Skyline Landscape that we see today is the result of Paul’s involvement and masterful abilities.

Paul is predeceased by his first wife, Susan; his parents, Robert and Erene; and a sister, Ruth E. Trexler.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife, Pearl W. Tauscher; his brothers, Robert W. Tauscher, Jr. of New Franklin, OH, and Carl P. Tauscher of Brick, NJ; his sisters, Esther M. Tauscher of Brick, NJ, Lois A. Allen of Gautier, MS, Susan J. Schuenemann of Shalimar, FL, and Nancy J. Wettstein of Panama City, FL. Paul will also be missed by his four-legged best friend, Lexi.

Paul will lie in repose on Thursday, September 21, 2023, from 10:00 a.m-12:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.

A Life Celebration service officiated by Rev. Bruce Davidson will take place on Thursday, September 21, 2023, at noon at the funeral home and to which all are welcome. If you are unable to attend, but would like something read on your behalf, please click HERE to send an email to the funeral home.
