Paul F. Ambis, age 71 years, of Glen Gardner, NJ, died on Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born September 2, 1944 in Newark, NJ, son of the late Paul and Margaret Koerner Ambis, he had lived in Glen Gardner since 2004, having formerly lived in Sebastian, FL for many years.
He was formerly the owner and operator of Alpine Landscaping, Sebastian, FL. He was also an artist whose sketches and paintings will be lovingly remembered by his family and friends.
A former member of the Bound Brook, NJ Fire Department, Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman who happiest days were those outdoors with nature.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Richard and John Ambis.
Surviving are two daughters and sons-in-law, Cassandra and Randy Lee and Diane and Stan Malecki; a son and daughter-in-law, Keith and Camille Ambis; a sister, Teresa Williams; and ten grandchildren.
Funeral services and interment are private under the care and direction of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
