Phyllis Lillian Goldberg, age 85 years, of Albrightsville, PA, died on Thursday, July 2, 2015 in the Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born in Brooklyn, NY, September 14, 1929, daughter of the late Alex and Florence Sadoff Horowitz, she had resided in Albrightsville since 1977, having formerly lived in Brooklyn, NY.
A homemaker, she was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and friend.
Surviving are a daughter and son-in-law, Rene M. and Alan Newman of Jackson, NJ; a son and daughter-in-law, Steven M. and Carla Adams of Wellington, FL; a daughter, Lori S. Findley of Pittstown, NJ; a son-in-law, Edward Mahoney of Staten Island, NY; eleven grandchildren; and eight great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jacob in 1992 after forty-seven years of marriage; a daughter, Nanette Mahony in 2010; and a grandson, Edward Mahoney in 2012.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 5, 2015 at 11:30 a.m in the Flemington Jewish Community Center, 5 Sergeantsville Road, Flemington, NJ, 08822 under the care of Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ.
Interment will follow in the family plot at Temple Israel Cemetery of Lehighton, Franklin Township, PA. The anticipated arrival time at the cemetery is 2:00 p.m. For those not traveling in the procession, please wait outside the cemetery until the procession enters and then join in line.
Shiva will be observed at the home of Lori Findley, 685 County Road 579, Pittstown, NJ, 08867 from Sunday, July 5, 2015 through Thursday, July 9, 2015 with services every evening at 7:30 p.m. All are welcomed to stop by anytime to see the family.
