Princeton Theological Seminary Miller Chapel was a nice place to meet with band members from the Hopewell area. My dad introduced me to the band saying the Auerbach's had years of playing instruments. I couldn't get a spot in the band due to my studies but I appreciate the connection Mr. Auerbach provided for future membership.

My brother Kat told me of Ray's admission to longterm care in 2022. I wish my Florida friends from the Melbourne area would have relayed this to me sooner. A true friend who kept in touch over the decades and proudly served our country. The Kingdom of God gave the world a fine man.

Mr. Auerbach helped me start my career in Newark. Central Avenue was a busy place and working late hours with Mr. Auerbach made me feel safe when he drove me to the train station. We often had lunch together on Saturdays when his children came to the office with him. Our time together was an inspiration. Ray and I navigated some great times together in Newark. His Saturday night band gigs were the highlight of the motel.
