Ronald Edward Tyranski, age 80 years, of Delaware Township, NJ, died on Wednesday, May 20, 2020 at Hunterdon Medical Center, Raritan Township, NJ.
Born on December 20, 1939, son of the late Edward and Marie Balicki Tyranski, he was raised in Hillside, NJ and had formerly lived in Tewksbury, NJ prior to moving to Delaware Township ten years ago.
A United States Navy veteran, Ronald was a Project Manager for many years with AD Signature Home Investments.
Strong-willed with an appetite for hard work, he worked until the day he became ill. He supported his family in all their endeavors, and showed them by example that hard work was its own reward.
Enjoying horses, he bought his only daughter, Jodi, her first horse, Dusty, when she was in seventh grade. They shared that passion and enjoyed the farm they bought together in Delaware Township.
A Nascar racing official, Ronald traveled around the country officiating races at many of the major tracks. He also served with honor on the Delaware Township Planning Board.
Surviving are his wife of fifty-eight years, Bonnie Frankewicz Tyranski with whom he joined hands in marriage on June 24, 1961 at Christ the King Church, Hillside, NJ; his daughter and son-in-law, Jodi Ann and Jeffrey Cox; his grandchildren, Christie Ann Feoli and her husband, Andy Sroka, Taylor Alexandra Cox, and Kevin Jeffrey Cox; his great granddaughter, Alexis Ann Meyer; sister, Deborah Lara; several extended family; and many friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Edward.
