Salvatore Nicholas “Nick” Cirasa, age 35 years, of Phillipsburg, NJ, died on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at his home.
Born in Rahway, NJ, May 23, 1980, son of Salvatore J. Cirasa of Phillipsburg, NJ and Donna Jean Darling Yaros of Venice Gardens, FL, he had formerly resided in Kingwood Township and Flemington, NJ. He was a 1998 graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Flemington, NJ.
A self-employed musician, Nick will be remembered for many things, most of all being a pure, warm and selfless soul.
His Catholic upbringing in St. Magdalen parish, Flemington, NJ, gave Nick a foundation on which many of his good deeds rested. He was very involved with both “Revelation Generation” and “Celebration” and always made all who attended, regardless of religious affiliation, feel welcomed.
Known by his friends as the guy who gives the best hugs around, his comical and whimsical nature made him the star of the stage. His music skills were top notch and performing was where he found his identity. He took great pride in helping others and volunteered for many organizations, including the Flemington-Raritan First Aid & Rescue Squad. Nick was the one who would give you the shirt off his back and this attribute will live on through all who knew him.

In addition to his parents, Nick is survived by his maternal grandmother, Madeline R.
