Our dear friend Sheila, Although we never met we knew each other’s heart. Through social media we met, became friends and we shared our love of family, music, and the ocean. You mentored me when my husband was diagnosed with MS. You guided me and gave me strength. You enjoyed seeing our children grow throughout the years on social media. You always remembered their birthdays, their special moments, their successes and you took time each day to reach out with words of wisdom for our united journey of MS. I love you and will cherish our friendship. I miss you. May you now enjoy the strolls along the beach, the music and may you dance with your beloved Tony forever in eternal joy and love. May Jesus bring your family comfort in their most precious of memories. Until we meet again, Love, Cheryl & Dan Alan, Danny and Mo & all your friends at Team Danny & Friends Walk MS

I have been trying for a week to come up with the right words to express my condolences and/or memories, but the "right words" will not come. Sheila was precious to me, a wonderful friend that I will always miss. But we talked several times about meeting again one day, which we both believe. So I will leave it at that. I will always love and miss her and look forward to meeting again one day. Condolences and blessings to her family and other friends. We were better people because of her. Love and prayers to all.

My Aunt Sheila was a very special person. Not only was she my Aunt, she was also my Godmother. Even though we lived miles apart she found ways to connect with me. She always made me feel important and loved. She would even ask me about my son Collin and my husband Bryan. It was important to her, to make sure we knew she loved us. I am so grateful they both got to meet her. I already miss receiving her thoughtful text messages and cards. I have been re-reading the messages and cards she sent me and I will continue to read them over and over as the days go on. My Aunt Sheila found happiness in spreading joy and laughter to all her family and friends. She touched so many lives. She was a beautiful person on the inside and out. Her strength, courage, faith and overall positive attitude has always been a true inspiration to me. I am so blessed to have had her in my life. No words will ever do justice to the impact she left on our family.  She’ll be in our hearts forever. With Love, Lori, Bryan and Collin

Dear Lisa & Family, Sending heartfelt sympathy as you remember your Mom / Sheila. We met through my volunteer work many years ago, but became friends over time. She will be missed most of all by you & your family, but she touched the lives of many with her kindness, faith, strength and gentle humor. Her computer & phone helped her keep in touch with others, but she still loved sending greeting cards via snail mail. Thankful for sharing friendship, tea & cookies. With Prayers & Sympathy, Carol & my husband Bob, too.

Sheila and I were best buds in high school. There was never a day that went by that we spoke on the phone or visited each other. Went to her wedding to Tony. Her aunts made her wedding dress. She was incredibly resilient with her MS and never let it spoil her cheerful attitude. I will truly miss her emails and ecards sent to me to wish me a happy birthday or just to say hi. Rest in Peace, Sheila, I so miss you...

Amy and Brian Martin left a message on May 3, 2020:
I am proud of my Aunt Sheila. She has the sweetest soul that is both extremely kind and unbelievably strong. Heaven is gaining a true angel. I admire the person she was, living with grace and love no matter the challenge. Aunt Sheila never forgot a birthday or holiday. She always found the most beautiful way of letting those she loved know that she was thinking of them. She didn't reserve her expressions of love and light for only special occasions. She would often share a beautiful message for no other reason than to spread joy. Her faith in God was strong and solid, and her belief in the power of prayer was unwavering. While she is already greatly missed, it is comforting to think of her being reunited with the love of her life, Uncle Tony, as well as Grandma and Grandpa. We offer our sympathy to all the people that love Aunt Sheila. This is especially true for all those in our family, and most significantly, my cousin Lisa, (Aunt Sheila's daughter) my Dad (Aunt Sheila's brother) and my Aunt Linda (Aunt Sheila's sister). May God wrap his loving arms around you all, bringing you comfort and peace, as you think of the special memories that you forever hold in your hearts. With love, Amy and Brian
