Susan Anna Holmes, age 60 years, of Bloomsbury, NJ, died on Saturday, October 10, 2015 in St Luke’s-Warren Hospital, Phillipsburg, NJ.
Born in Newark, NJ, November 30, 1954, daughter of the late August and Martha Goditus Kaleta, she had lived in Bloomsbury for over forty years.
She was formerly the office manager at Amwell Valley Self Storage and had also been a residential manager with the ARC of Hunterdon. She was also a proud volunteer for many years with the Bloomsbury Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary.
Susan was an all around loving and generous person who united her family. She was especially helpful to the whole family upon the deaths of her parents and two brothers and helped to keep the family strong in the wake of sadness. She never was one to not speak her mind, and that boldness in all areas of her life is the legacy she leaves; the boldness of always being honest and loving no matter the situation.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her two brothers, James Kaleta in 1984 and August Kaleta in 1997, as well as by a nephew, August Michael Kaleta in 2011.
Surviving are her husband of twenty years, Peter Manuel Spozato; her step-daughter, Melissa Spozato of Flemington, NJ; three grandchildren, Dominick, David and Cheyenne Spozato; her sister-in-law and her husband, Emily L. Kaleta and Kenneth Kacsmar of Bridgewater, NJ; three nieces, Thia Kaleta of Colorado Springs, CO, Erica Brewer of Glen Gardner NJ and Kelsey Kaleta of Bridgewater, NJ; a nephew, Gabriel Kacsmar of Bridgewater, NJ; and many friends.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, October 15, 2015 at 7:30 p.m. in Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5:00 p.m. until time of service in the funeral home. Interment will be private.
