William Ronald “Bill” Bolash, age 63 years, of New Hope, PA, died on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at home, surrounded by his loving family.
Born in Philadelphia, PA, October 16, 1953, son of the late Ronald and Johanna Tusko Bolash, he had resided in New Hope, PA for the past year, having formerly lived in Lambertville, Ringoes and Hillsborough, NJ.
Growing up in Manville, NJ, Bill was a 1971 graduate of Manville High School, where he served as both Student Council and Class President. Upon graduation, Bill then earned his B.A. in Business from Rutgers University, where he played football and stayed very active with the Rutgers University Alumni Football Association.
Bill was a salesman with Corporate Express, Branchburg, NJ for many years. A lover of the outdoors, he enjoyed staying physically fit by exercising frequently and practicing Yoga, outside whenever he could.
A friend to all, big Brother to many and Father to others, Bill had an extremely fun loving persona that one just enjoyed being around. Overcoming several family tragedies, Bill tried his best to always keep the family together while dealing with his own feelings in private. He learned that life should be lived by the motto, “Carpe Diem”, or “seize the day”, and tried to make others relax and have a good time, all the time. This unconditional love of family and friends is the main legacy that Bill leaves all those who will cherish his memory and carry his light out into the world.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Janet Bolash in 2005 and by his nephew, whom he took in and raised upon his sister’s passing, Brad Bolash in 2016.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, Jason and Robyn Bolash of Delaware Township, NJ, his former wife and lifelong friend, Judy Bolash of Hillsborough, NJ; his companion of sixteen years, Barbara Parrish of New Hope, PA; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and many cherished friends.
A celebration of Bill’s life will take place on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 4:00 p.m. in Wright & Ford Family Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 38 State Highway 31, Flemington, NJ. This will be preceded by a memorial gathering from 2:00-4:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
Cremation services with the immediate family were private at the Chapel of Ewing Crematory, Ewing Township, NJ.
