Priscilla D. Fay

Licensed Funeral Director

N.J. Lic. No. 3885

Priscilla Fay is a 1985 graduate of Frostburg State University, Frostburg, Maryland, where she earned a Bachelor of Science degree. She then graduated from the American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City, NY in 1987.

A licensed funeral director for nearly thirty years, serving Ocean, Monmouth, and Atlantic Counties in New Jersey, Priscilla was also a facilitator of a spousal support group while she worked at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home in Toms River, NJ.

Happily married to her husband of twenty-five years, Frank, they currently reside in Columbia, NJ, along with Priscilla's mother, who moved to New Jersey from Ohio after the death of Priscilla's father in January of 2017. They are active members of the community and have been becoming more involved in Hunterdon County and all its wonderful offerings since Priscilla became associated with Wright & Ford.

Priscilla and Frank have two children; their son is currently in college, and their daughter recently graduated nursing school and is a nurse in a hospital in Savannah, GA.

D.J. Wright, owner and executive director of the funeral home and Priscilla were introduced by a colleague and mutual friend in the summer of 2016, and instantly realized their mutual passion for blending traditional ways of serving the living as well as the deceased. This passion also included addressing the needs of having life celebrations in a modern society.

Priscilla is particularly driven to help families move through the grief process in their own way. In addition to making arrangements, directing funerals, performing surgical embalming and restoration, cosmetizing, and all other things associated with being a licensed funeral director and embalmer, she is leading the new educational offerings and bereavement support programs sponsored and facilitated by Wright & Ford.

"Priscilla brings an energy of caring that I would want were I sitting on the other side of the table having just lost someone I love," says D.J. Wright. "She serves from the same place I do, and I am honored that she wanted to be a part of our Care Team Family with all the other opportunities presented to her; this community and all those we serve around the world are lucky to have her wisdom and her caring heart."

Already becoming actively involved in various groups in and around Hunterdon County, Priscilla is looking forward to becoming more engaged in Flemington and the community-at-large. "I live about forty-five minutes from the funeral home, and over the past year I have discovered all the wonderful things Flemington and the larger community have to offer. It is exciting to come to a place each day that does not feel like work; this is my ministry, as it is for D.J., and all the members of the Wright & Ford Care Team Family," says Priscilla.

"After working at various funeral homes around the country as my husband's job in pharmaceuticals had us moving around somewhat often, I can honestly say that what we do at Wright & Ford is very different than what I have seen anywhere else, and that is for the better. There is never any pressure put on those making arrangements and D.J. makes certain that we take care of all the needs of the living, as well as the reverent and gentle care of the deceased entrusted to us."

"There is nothing that is ever partially done; it is done complete and right as we have only one chance to get it correct. We help guide people on the beginning of their healing path and we all realize what a sacred and vital responsibility that is. I am looking forward to serving the community for many years and helping Wright & Ford to become the true epicenter for all matters of life and death."
